The CMS Faculty, Staff and Students are celebrating the recognition of our very own 6th Grade ELA Teacher, Mrs. Dena Fisette. Mrs. Fisette has gone "Above and Beyond" her job duties as an ELA Teacher. She is simultaneously teaching (2) ELA classes at one time through the use of an OWL Camera. She is teaching a total of (6) ELA classes a day! Mrs. Fisette is a dedicated, hard working, selfless teacher. She gives her students her ALL EVERYDAY! The St. Landry Parish School Board is pleased to announce Learning Beyond The Bell--Academic and Enrichment Program - a yearlong after school learning program designed to enrich the academic and extracurricular life of our kindergarten - 12th grade students.
The goal is to improve critical foundational skills in all core content areas. In addition, we will offer enrichment opportunities that will enable students to take virtual field trips, learn more about science and technology, engage in social living projects, play sports, and develop an appreciation for art, theater, music, and more.

Dates: October 2021 - May 2022 (start dates forthcoming)
Days: Monday - Thursday
Hours: immediately after school (3:10 p.m. - 5:10 p.m.)

Creswell Middle School Flu Clinic
To: All Creswell Middle School Parents and Guardians
Re: Flu Vaccines on Wednesday, September 29, 2021
We will have a flu vaccination clinic at Creswell Middle School on Wednesday, September 29th starting around 1:30 p.m. (mid afternoon). Due to COVID-19, the flu vaccinations will only be offered to students and faculty & staff of Creswell Middle School. Forms were sent home with students last week.
If you would like your child to receive the flu vaccine during this clinic, please complete the consent form and return it back to school NO LATER THAN Wednesday, September 22nd. The school is required to submit a final count on Wednesday, September 22nd by 3:00 p.m. A separate form must be completed and returned for each individual child (siblings cannot be put on the same form).

Homeroom Teachers: Please make sure that you are up to date with inputting your grades in JCampus. I am aware several students have been out quarantined, and they need to make up assignments, but you should have something posted. Progress Reports will be printed for you on Monday, September 20th. You should have a minimum of no less than three grades. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me.
