Good morning GCES! This is a reminder that Mr. Peter Smith (Bus 608) and Ms. Annette Courville (Bus 558) will not run their afternoon routes today. Parents of students who ride these buses will need to make arrangements to pick them up. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Good afternoon GCES. This is a reminder that students who scored Mastery or Advanced on any part of the LEAP test last year will attend the Mastery Glow-mania tomorrow. They are also encouraged to wear their brightest colored Free Dress! The students who are able to participate were given an invitation by Mr. Singleton.
Tomorrow, September 13, 2023, Grand Coteau Elementary will dismiss at 12:25 PM. All buses will run their routes at that time. We ask that car riders are picked up by 12:35. Thanks for your cooperation.

All St. Landry Parish Public schools will have an early dismissal on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, to facilitate professional learning opportunities. Please be attentive to communication from your child's school, as they will provide you with the precise dismissal times. These times may vary slightly from school to school. If your child typically rides the bus, please ensure someone is available at home to receive them upon their early return. If your child is a car rider, please adhere to the specific car rider dismissal time communicated by the school to ensure a smooth pick-up process. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
This morning we had PBIS Kickoff during Morning Meetings. Students revisited the PBIS Schoolwide Expectations by viewing and discussing this video. We are so proud of the Synergy that is taking place on our campus.

Good Afternoon GCES! This is a reminder to participate in the Coca-Cola Fundraiser. Orders and money are due on September 15. Students will earn incentives for selling at least 5 items. Grandparents Day has been rescheduled for September 19. RSVP Forms will be sent home tomorrow. Today, students are going home with Spirit Wear orders. There are still a few items that are not completed due to items on backorder.

Today we kicked off LEADing and Literacy! One student from each homeroom was rewarded with a golden coin to the book vending machine for demonstrating the PBIS expectations this week. These students are LEADing the Way with Positive Behavior!!!
