Congratulations! Last week our attendance average was 97%! Since we met our attendance goal 5 days, the entire school will receive a free dress day on Friday, August 26.
Also please be reminded that this afternoon, Ms. Annette Courville, Bus 253 is unable to run the route. Parents will have to make arrangements to pick up those students. Thanks for your cooperation.

Tomorrow is the deadline to pay the $35 registration fees.
Tomorrow, students may wear jeans or school appropriate jean shorts and a non uniform shirt for a donation of $2.00.

Today we welcomed all K-4th grade students Back to School with a Red Carpet Welcome. This has become a tradition to make students and staff feel like the Superstars that they are! Best Wishes to all for a Successful School Year!

We were notified that the Transportation Dept. secured a bus driver for students who were routed for Bus 258. The driver will be Ms. Barbara Leblanc and will drive bus 280. She will not begin until Monday morning so students who ride this bus will need to be picked up this afternoon. Thank you for your patience during this process. Have a great day!
Good Morning GCES! This is a reminder that today, only students with odd-numbered addresses attend school. We still do not have a driver for bus 258 so parents of students who ride this bus will have to provide transportation to and from school. Arrival begins at 7:20 AM and dismissal begins at 2:55 PM. This is a reminder that tomorrow we will have a staggered start. Only students who have even-numbered addresses should attend school. Students with odd-numbered addresses will attend on Friday.
Unfortunately we were notified that there is no driver for Bus 258. The district is looking to fill this position. This means that parents of students assigned to Bus 258 will have to bring their children to and from school. We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience.
We are so excited that we were able to welcome our Blue Jays back to campus tonight for Meet and Greet. Thanks to our amazing staff for all of your preparations. We would also like to thank all of the families who attended.
GCES Staff members are preparing to welcome our students back to school. As a part of our PD, teams collaborated to form collective resumes. Through this activity we were able to begin building trusting relationships and celebrate the talents and skills of all team members.
GCES is inviting members of the Arnaudville and Grand Coteau community to welcome our children back to school.

The start of school is right around the corner! Students in Cohort A will begin August 11th, students in Cohort B will report on August 12th, and all students will return on August 15th. Schools will inform you of your child's cohort.
