The St. Landry Parish School Board will host CAMP ACCELERATE for all students in grades K - 8!
CAMP ACCELERATE will provide students an opportunity to continue their academic learning in English Language Arts, Social Studies, Mathematics, and Science while also engaging them in enrichment activities.
The enrichment opportunities will enable students to take virtual field trips, learn more about science and technology, engage in social living projects, play sports, and develop an appreciation for art, theater, music, and more.
Students will attend CAMP ACCELERATE from 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Monday - Thursday beginning June 6th and continuing through June 30th. New this Year ! We are exploring the possibility of offering field trips to students on select Fridays.
Students will be offered transportation to and from the program, and lunch will be provided.
Parents of students in grades K to 8 who are interested in registering their children for the program should complete the registration form below. Please complete one form per child.

This is a very important moment for our school district as the propositions will address increasing staff salaries, repair tracks and equipment at all 6 high schools, and build 4 elementary schools. A MESSAGE FROM SLPSB: At the St. Landry Parish School Board Meeting last night, the Board voted to make mask wearing optional at schools, district facilities, and on the school bus. This Board action is effective immediately.

The Cat in the Hat visited 3 schools today to present a prize to the district Read Across America Writing Contest Winners. Congratulations to Jolie Q - Park Vista Elementary; Ella M. - Grand Coteau Elem; Ainsley S- Krotz Springs Elem. for winning the RAA Writing Contest!
