🥚🐰 PBES is assisting the Port Barre Police Department in collecting Easter eggs for the Annual Port Barre Easter Egg Hunt! 🐰🥚
The homeroom that collects the most plastic Easter eggs will win a pizza party, generously gifted by the Port Barre Police Department! 🎉🍕
The Port Barre Police Department will host the Community Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 28 starting at 10:00 AM. This event is for children who live in Port Barre or attend one of the schools within town.
Age Groups:
🐣 Ages 0–4, Ages 5–8, Ages 9–12, and Senior Citizen Egg Hunt (Ages 60+)🥚
🏆 Prizes will be awarded for the most eggs found and for the Golden Egg!🌭 Free chili dogs and drinks (while supplies last) 🎯 Games and family fun
Please help us make this event a success by sending plastic Easter eggs to school with your child and turning them in to their homeroom teacher.

🎉📚 Mrs. Emily’s PreK class had a great time celebrating Dr. Seuss’s birthday! The students enjoyed reading their favorite Dr. Seuss books and even tried green eggs and ham. 💚🍳 It was a fun day filled with stories, smiles, and a little Seuss-inspired adventure!

Let your child add a letter of the word "responsible" to the calendar each day after completing all tasks. When the calendar says R-E-S-P-O-N-S-I-B-L-E, do something special together to celebrate.

Help your elementary schooler learn that completing a task includes cleaning up afterward. If your child's messes get out of hand, announce that you are expecting a visit from the silent custodian. Your child should prepare by tidying up. Whatever isn't picked up by a time you set goes into a box marked "silent custodian." In order to get an item back, your child must complete a chore of your choice.

Kids have called each other names for centuries. But families and schools should not ignore it. Persistent name-calling and name-calling with an intent to hurt or isolate are forms of bullying. Teach your child that this behavior is hurtful. Don't accept "I was just joking," as an excuse. Voice your disapproval when you hear your child putting another person down.

🦷✨ First Graders had an Eat Move Grow lesson all about dental health! They learned the importance of brushing and taking care of their smiles. 😁
