Hello Creswell Middle School Parents: As we wrap up the last few days of school for the 2021-2022 school year for our Tigers 🐅, please be reminded that tomorrow, Wednesday, May 25th and Thursday, May 26th our school will dismiss at 12:15 pm on both days. 🚌🚘

CMS Parents and Guardians, you can rest assure that your child/children will receive their end of the year recognition. They earned it and they will be recognized over the intercom, and certificates will be given out to them by their Homeroom Teacher starting today, Monday, May 23, 2022. We looked in to several options, but time was not favorable for us this year. We are truly sorry for this inconvenience.
Several of our school campuses do not have gyms or large cafeterias. Creswell Middle School, like several schools in the district are working without a full faculty and staff, and that was another factor that had to be taken in to consideration when closing out the school year effectively and orderly. We looked at doing a virtual program, and sending out a zoom link, but the internet in the cafeteria at this time is not working properly for us to make this happen.
Hello CMS Parents & Guardians: We have been receiving calls in reference to our 6th grade Closing Program and 5th grade Awards program. Unfortunately, our school cafeteria can not accommodate each grade level along with parents and family. There is not enough parking on our campus as well. We will not be able to have these programs this year face to face. Having our end of the year activities at another school’s campus is feasible, but it takes collaboration and planning between the two schools.

Hello Creswell Middle Parents: Bus 559- Cindy Gulino is running about an hour behind due to a field trip with another school. Students have been contacting their parents for rides home. Our school was informed that the bus driver for Bus 559 will make her route to all schools, if parents are unable to pick up their children.

She will also not be running the rest of the school week, Wednesday, May 18th, Thursday, May 19th and Friday, May 20th. Please join the Opelousas Combined Middle Schools Choir along with the CMS Band on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at 6pm in our school's cafeteria for our 1st annual Spring Concert. Please come and support our very talented students.
