Hello Creswell Middle School Parents & Guardians: We will have regular pick up and drop off on the McDonald's side of our campus (1235 Creswell Lane). The city of Opelousas repaired the water leak today. We will continue with all Car Riders on the Creswell Lane side and all Bus Riders on the Leo Street side starting tomorrow, Wednesday, May 4, 2022. Thank you for your patience.

Hello Creswell Middle School Parents & Guardians: Starting tomorrow afternoon, Thursday, April 28, 2022, the Maintenance Department with the City of Opelousas will be working on a water leak at the end of the school's Exit Driveway. This is the driveway directly in front of McDonalds on the Creswell Lane side of our school's campus. This is a much needed issue and it must be repaired, ASAP. Afternoon dismissal, starting tomorrow, Thursday, April 28th will begin at 2:45 p.m. on the1218 LEO STREET/MACA side of our campus. On Friday, April 29th both morning and afternoon car drop off/ pick up will be on the 1218 LEO STREET/MACA side of our campus. Morning drop off will start at the same time at 7:20am, and afternoon pick will be earlier at 2:45pm. Please do not try and drop off/pick up on the Creswell Lane side because there will not be a turnaround area. The grass area is too soft and vehicles have gotten stuck in the mud, and a tow truck had to be called to assist at the owners expense. Violators will be reported to OPD. Please work with us and the city so that this repair can be done quickly. We appreciate your support and understanding.

Hello CMS Parents: As we enter our final preparations for LEAP 2025 State Testing, there is important information that we would like to share with you.
First and foremost, your children are prepared for this test and it’s time to show what you know! Please be reminded that LEAP2025 State Testing is a mandatory requirement for all Louisiana public school students.
5th and 6th Grade LEAP 2025 testing is scheduled for April 26th – May 11th.
Students MUST be present at school and on time EACH DAY they are scheduled to test. Car riders begin arriving at 7:20 a.m.
Ensure students have a good night’s rest. We are a technology free campus, to include adults, during testing - cell phones won’t be permitted on campus.
No checkouts will be allowed once testing has started.
Please do NOT schedule any appointments during this testing cycle.
Encourage your student(s) to do their absolute BEST on the test! We know they can ROCK IT! Please contact the school @ 337-942-4892, if you have any questions or concerns.
